Sorry for the unintentional blogging hiatus. Life just happens, and sometimes it's busier than others! For those of you who care about catching up, here's a glance back at what I've been doing since the last post.
1. Miami- This was so much fun! Bridgett, Lee, and I found a great deal on roundtrip tickets to Miami to visit Josh and Ginger. (They were $150 for those wondering.) I took off on a Friday and Monday so we had a good, long weekend. We only got to see Josh play four innings due to a rain delay and then his back injury, but we had tons of time to just hang out and have fun. It was a blast!

2. Cortney's poor car died a couple weeks ago. It just wouldn't go anymore, literally. We took it to the shop here for her, hoping it was something simple. No such luck. The mechanic said it was the transmission and it wasn't even worth fixing. It already had about 160,000 miles on it and even if she fixed this problem, the motor could blow up the next week. So, off we went on a car hunt. Mom and I pulled in to Jerry Damson Nissan just to look and see what they had. Little did we know, we ended up finding Cort a car that day. It's a 2006 Altima with only 24,000 miles. We got a pretty good deal. Cort came up this weekend to sign all the papers. She loved it. Here's a picture of her actual car.

3. We went to sing at the "Leadership Under Construction" retreat Sunday. Jeremy wanted us to come so we got up super early Sunday morning and drove an hour away to be with the teens for worship. It was fun. We leave two weeks from this weekend to go to Kentucky to sing at a youth rally in which Jeremy leads worship. I'm really thankful for this ministry and feel honored that God has given me the opportunity to use it for Him.
4. Our fall break, all one day of it, was this past Monday. I made the most of sleeping late! Although, I did have a reason. Sunday night was Midnight Madness at school. The teams could officially start handling the ball and scrimmaging Monday, so at midnight Sunday they invited people out and served free popcorn to watch the first scrimmage game of the season. The cheerleaders were there and dressed up in blue and white. Surprisingly, the gym was almost full. I guess it's never to late to watch some good basketball!
So there you have it- my life in a nutshell for the past month or so. I'm going to try and post more regularly again. Happy Tuesday!
